Improvements made after feedback

Audience feedback from first draft
As an effective way of gathering feedback from our target audience we uploaded our first draft of our trailer onto a web 2.0 site, YouTube, then shared the link on our Facebook profiles. This meant that, on YouTube, it could be viewed by anyone giving a varied opinion from all age ranges. Whilst on Facebook the opinions would mostly be from our friends and therefore our target audience of 16-24, as we ourselves fit into this category.
We also asked for feedback from AS media students as we felt that they would be able to give us knowledgeable advice of any improvements, being media students who were currently creating a horror trailer themselves.

Editing trailer: 'New' theme
Throughout our trailer we captioned each character/s section with 'New ____...', which kept a running theme throughout but also emphasised the fact the soap was new.

Editing trailer: Our E4 logo
We chose the banner we thought would look most effective at the end of our trailer and used Adobe Photoshop to edit it. Using the clone tool we removed the text and replaced it with our soap title, 'Conway' as well as the essential details on the bottom banner.
Editing trailer: E4 logos
We chose 'E4' as the channel which our soap would be aired on as its programs are more targeted at a teenage/young adult audience, and we felt that our soap would fit in with this. Rather than your more traditional soap, we wanted it to be a mix of Hollyoaks and Skins. We found some ribbon/banner logos to edit for the very end of our trailer.
